After his injury was reassessed by club specialists Ramsey was told it does not require surgery, but the absence does mean his 11-year spell with Arsenal is over. The news is a huge blow to both Ramsey and Arsenal supporters who would have hoped to bid farewell to one of Unai Emery’s more consistent performers. Ramsey’s contract expires at the end of the campaign and he has agreed a four-year deal with Serie A champions Juventus worth a reported 400,000 per week.
