Ozil has struggled for game time recently and in the Premier League has appeared for just 20 minutes in total since the middle of November.He was snubbed earlier this week for theirCarabao Cup defeat to Tottenham, failing to even earn a place among the substitutes, with Emery confirming it was a tactical decision.1

Alexandre Lacazette was recalled, Sead Kolasinac is starting following a thigh problem and Mohamed Elneny came in for his first Premier League action of the campaign.Burnley’s last outing was also a loss to Tottenham – a late 1-0 defeat at Wembley– with Sean Dyche making two enforced changes as Jeff Hendrick and Chris Wood came in for injured duo Aaron Lennon and Robbie Brady.
