Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has come off as a substitute on his return to football since he sustained a knee injury in a Champions League tie against Roma last April.Oxlade-Chamberlain was in action for Liverpool’s Under-23 side at the club’s training ground in Melwood against Derby.5

However, 41 minutes into the game, the 25-year-old withdrew from the game.It’s not clear whether this was done to help Oxlade-Chamberlain gradually build up his fitness or if he is indeed injured.However, footage from earlier in the game shows him slightly holding his right hamstring before trudging off the pitch. 5
